Directions:

• Begin using the silicon gel strips once the wound/scar has been healed for 7 days on its own
• If needed, cut the silicon gel strip (with blue isolation layer onto the proper size (leaving at least 1/2 inch beyond the wound)
• Clean/disinfect the wound area each time before placing the gel strip and pat dry
• Peel and take out the blue isolation layer (sticky side) and take out the transparent layer on the other side of the gel and put the adherent (sticky) side to the wound
• Remove the silicon gel strip once at least every day to clean the wound and the silicon gel strip with warm water and non-oily soap then blow dry or wait until the gel dries before replacing on the skin
• Use each silicon gel strip between 2-4 weeks until the silicon gel loses its adhesiveness or becomes dirty. Total treatment should last between 2-4 months.

Precautions:

• Before using the gel strips, ensure that the scar is closed or healed for at least a week and that it is no longer oozing
• Like with any other material touching your skin, there may be a slight chance that a rash may occur. If a reaction occurs, wash and dry the scar and the surrounding area and re-apply the silicon gel trip for shorter periods of time and gradually increase the usage time daily. If you continue encountering problems, stop using the silicon gel strips and consult your medical doctor
